Terms of use
The rules for using Kornial, in plain words.
Draft Written 17 October 2026, last revised 31 October 2026, pending the operator's review; not yet in effect.
The service
Kornial (kornial.ai) helps you write trading strategies, backtest them on historical market data and judge the evidence, through AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude and through its website. It is operated by Zaliton Ltd, a company registered in Cyprus ("we"); contact info@kornial.ai. By connecting to it or using the website you accept these terms.
Not investment advice
Kornial is a research tool. It places no trades, connects to no broker and holds no money. Backtests are simulations on past prices with fixed cost assumptions; their results, the verdicts and scores computed from them and anything an assistant says about them describe what the simulation did, are not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything, are not investment advice and are not evidence of future profit. Simulated results differ from real trading, which pays real costs and meets conditions no past data contains. Strategy code is yours and its results are labelled as the output of unverified code. Any decision to trade is yours alone, and trading leveraged products such as CFDs can lose more than you put in.
Your account
You sign in with your own account at WorkOS, our sign-in provider (https://workos.com/privacy), with a one-time code or a password; keep that account and your email secure, and what you do with it counts as yours. Your strategies and backtests belong to your WorkOS user id. For now Kornial is open only to accounts its operator has allowed.
Your content
Your strategies, notes and results are yours. You give us permission to store them, run them in our sandboxes and show them to you and to the apps you approve, only to provide the service. Do not upload anything you have no right to use.
Fair use and moderation
Do not try to get around the sandbox, its limits or the sign-in, reach data that is not yours, overload the service, or use it to break the law or anyone's rights. Strategy code runs only in the isolated sandbox and may be stopped when it reaches a limit. Market data is provided for research inside the service; do not extract it in bulk or redistribute it.
We do not read or screen your strategies as a matter of course: they are private to you, and nothing is published. We look at content only when a notice, an error or an abuse signal points to it, and a person decides. To report content you believe unlawful, write to info@kornial.ai with where it is, why you believe it unlawful, your name and email address and a statement that you report in good faith; we confirm receipt and tell you what we decided. If we restrict a strategy or an account, we tell the person affected what we did, why and on which rule, and they can contest it at info@kornial.ai.
Who may use it
You may not use Kornial if you are in, or ordinarily resident in, a country or territory under comprehensive European Union, United Kingdom or United States sanctions, or if you are a person or act for a person on their sanctions lists. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms on your own where you live, or have a parent's or guardian's consent.
Availability and price
Kornial is free today and is provided as it is, without a promised level of service. Limits, features and these terms may change. If paid plans come, prices are shown, with the tax that applies to you, and accepted before anything is charged; a plan renews each month until you cancel it, which you can do at any time from the plans page with effect from the end of the paid month, and a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom can withdraw within 14 days of paying as the plans page then explains.
Your data and leaving
You can download your strategies and results at any time, and ask at info@kornial.ai for everything we hold about you in a machine-readable form, at no charge. You can stop using Kornial at any time and ask us to delete your data (privacy policy, kornial.ai/privacy). We may suspend access that breaks these terms, as the moderation section says.
Responsibility
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using the service or relying on its results, including trading losses, and we give no warranty that it is accurate, complete or always available. Nothing here limits what the law where you live, as a consumer, does not let us limit.
Third-party software
The charts use TradingView Lightweight Charts, under the Apache License 2.0 (https://github.com/tradingview/lightweight-charts). Backtests run on NautilusTrader, under the GNU LGPL 3.0, on our servers only.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Cyprus, and its courts decide disputes about them; as a consumer you keep the protection of the law, and the courts, of the country where you live.
Changes
We will show the date of the latest version at the top of this page; a material change is announced before it applies.
